Terms of use

Last updated July 2026. Keep it simple: use cooy responsibly, and understand it comes as-is.

The service

cooy is a free tool for transferring files directly between devices. It is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee and no warranty of any kind.

Your responsibility

You're responsible for what you send. Don't use cooy to share content that's illegal, infringes on someone else's rights, or is intended to harm others. Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse engineer the service to disrupt it for other people.

No storage, no recovery

Because files are never stored on a server, cooy cannot recover a file after a transfer fails or a tab is closed. There is no backup to restore from.

Changes to the service

cooy may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice, since it's run and maintained independently.

Liability

cooy and its maintainer are not liable for any loss, damage, or issue arising from use of the service. Use it at your own discretion. Questions? Get in touch.
